BJB’s modular COB mounting system enables the flexible and future-proof integration of COB LEDs into professional lighting designs. By separating the outer and inner rings, COB modules can be integrated at a late stage of production. This late-stage finishing concept reduces the number of variants, simplifies inventory management, and maximizes flexibility in manufacturing.
The inner ring, with a pre-mounted COB LED, is inserted into the outer ring via a tool-free click-in assembly. The spring-loaded locking mechanism ensures high contact pressure and supports optimal thermal management through efficient heat transfer between the COB and the heat sink. This sustainably improves the performance, service life, and reliability of the LED system.
In addition to its simple installation, the system stands out for its high serviceability. COB modules can be quickly replaced, upgraded, or repaired, thereby reducing maintenance time and service costs. The modular concept also supports sustainable lighting solutions and circular design strategies.
With a height of just 4.5 mm, the system is ideal for slim and modern luminaire designs. At the same time, the modular platform enables the creation of a wide variety of luminaire families and reduces planning and logistical efforts for luminaire manufacturers.
The optional TIM film 47.980.B004-0 enables optimal thermal management through efficient heat transfer between the COB and the heat sink.
