With the new Zhaga Book 18 baseplates 47.921.U803-0 and 47.921.U802-0, BJB expands its portfolio for demanding outdoor lighting and smart city applications.
The new components are designed for harsh environments and offer a high level of protection, reliability, and installation safety.
A key feature is the potted electrical contact area, providing optimal protection against moisture and environmental influences. Combined with the proven twist-and-lock bayonet connection, it ensures secure mechanical and electrical mating. In addition, mechanical coding enables error-free installation.
When used with the matching covers 47.921.E301 and 47.921.E302, the system achieves up to IP66 protection, making it highly suitable for demanding outdoor applications.
The 47.921.U802-0 variant also includes an integrated pressure equalization membrane, which reduces condensation build-up and further enhances system reliability under changing environmental conditions.
The baseplates are compatible with Zhaga Book 18 receptacles of the 47.121 series and are ideally suited for intelligent street lighting, infrastructure projects, and robust outdoor luminaires.
